Constance's monologue ("Grief fills the room up of my absent child") from Act 3, Scene 4 of King John, performed by Chloe Fidler, and supported by Noel Porter and Christopher Ziter, as part of Hawkes and Handsaws - first performed by Vermont Repertory Theatre in October 2023.

Hawkes and Handsaws, by Michael Fidler, takes the audience on a journey through the printing of the First Folio, one of the most monumental and significant publishing endeavors in history. It celebrates and explains the massive achievement of the enterprise through the words of Shakespeare himself, with excerpts from the 18 plays that would have been lost without the publication of the First Folio, as well as descriptions of the historical context of the publication, fascinating insights into the printing techniques of the day, and even a glimpse of the the copyright issues faced by the editors.
