Welcome to the Gryffindor common room! Professor McGonagall told me that you were having a little trouble getting used to Hogwarts, so tonight I thought I'd help you get settled in. I'll show you everything you need to know—first, I'll flip through The Quibbler magazine, give you your very own Gryffindor journal, and then we'll read through The Daily Prophet together. I'll also give you a cage, perfect for a pygmy puff or small toad, and then we'll have some refreshments. There will, of course, be butterbeer, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and a chocolate frog. Lastly, I'll cast a spell on you that is sure you make you incredibly relaxed and sleepy to get you ready for bed.
