The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has taken strict action against Droneacharya Aerial Innovations (DAIL), a company listed on the BSE SME platform. The regulator found a "fraudulent scheme" designed to mislead public investors. Key findings include:

Misuse of IPO Proceeds: Out of ₹27.98 crore raised for drone purchases, only ₹70 lakh was used for the stated purpose. The rest was diverted.

Inflated Revenue & Profits: SEBI's investigation revealed that approximately 35% of the company's FY24 revenue (₹12.35 Cr) was not genuine, coming from entities where no actual goods or services were delivered.

Misleading Announcements: The company issued false corporate announcements to create artificial demand and prop up its share price, allowing pre-IPO investors to exit at "manipulated prices".
