Is Northern Michigan’s Boyne Thunder Poker Run the world’s greatest poker run? The immaculate waters of Lake Michigan, Round Lake and Lake Charlevoix make a strong case, as does the mesmerizing town of Boyne City and the 120 high-performance boat owners and their friends it hosts each year. Started by locals 21 years ago, Boyne Thunder isn’t just a wonderful three-day event for powerboat fans in a beautiful natural environment.
