Описание к видео Episode 6: Gijon to A-Coruna. At last a weather window opened, but it was a difficult journey.

Having sailed across the Bay of Biscay and arrived in Gijon, northern Spain on the 6th October we were keen to continue our journey to Madeira and the Canary Islands.
In this video we describe our waiting for a weather window and the use of Predictwind forecasting. As soon as a weather window arrived we set off to get around Cape Finisterre and down to Vigo, on the north west Atlantic coast of Spain.
The journey did not go well and the sea state was much worse than expected. After having a fuel filter block at around 2am we decided to cut the journey short and head into A-Coruna.
This passage proved to be another steep learning curve but giving us valuable experience and a growing confidence.
