How we Water the Orchard

In this video we show you how we water the orchard. chestnut trees need an inch of water per week, and since we are in the middle of a 6 week drought (it has not rained since we planted the trees) we need to get water to the chestnut orchard weekly.
We fill up a water tote and carry it to the orchard. we started by having a hose connected to the tote and Kris would walk along with hose in hand watering the young trees.
Purely by accident the spout fell out and I hurried to water the trees before we lost all our water. So we now just turn the water spigot on and water the trees. this way only takes one person and is faster.
I pull up next to the tree and count 5-6 seconds and go to the next.
A lot easier this way, we have done it several times now and its working out ok.
I would like to figure out a switch that I could use to turn on and off the water from my seat, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
