Jk…but this was really fun to create! After encouragement from several of my friends on here to learn to do my own Gel X nails, I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of DIY nails and I’m taking you on the journey with me!

I had acrylics put on at the salon about a month ago that I needed to remove. I’ve never done removal at home before, but honestly I was so much more gentle on my nails than the techs are when I go into a salon. After doing some research, I learned just how bad the method my nail tech was using is on my nail. She’d take another fake nail, jam it under my acrylics, and rip it off my nail. Yikes!!

This is a soak-off method, which is the most gentle on your nails. It’s takes a long time, which is the only downside. But I’d rather that than risk damaging my nails because I’m impatient. 😂 It was also my first time doing this, so now that I understand the process, I’m sure it will be faster next time.
