The Guild USA built D-55 stays true to the original 1968 dreadnought model. An AAA Sitka spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and nitrocellulose finish with scalloped Adirondack bracing delivers the classic tone with a powerful and balanced projection. Let's take a closer look and listen to the “Peak and Shield” inlay combination over a figured ebony overlay, Guild’s iconic abalone/pearl “V-Blocks” and multi-line “railroad track” purfling on the bass and treble sides.
