Roanoke College was found to have violated the Virginia Human Rights Act and Title IX, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares confirmed on Monday.

According to a press release, after an investigation, government officials found reasonable cause that the college had violated VHRA and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 by discriminating and retaliating against female student-athletes based on sex. That finding has been made public by one of the swimmers.
