CARNE ASADA RECIPE | Taco Shop Carne Asada Fries

Here is an easy and simple recipe for carne asada fries. This recipe is inspired by the delicious carne asada fries I used to get at Don Pedros restaurant in downtown Chula Vista, CA.

INGREDIENTS
1 lb to 1 1/2 lbs inside beef skirt
juice of half of a medium lime
juice of one medium orange
1 tsp salt or seasoning salt of your choice
(I used chupacabra rub season all)
2 tsp Maggi seasoning sauce (or soy sauce)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 lbs frozen bag shoe string fries (I used store bought)
Mexican crema (table cream or sour cream)
8 oz shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
4 oz Cotija cheese (crumbled)


AVOCADO SALSA
2 to 3 large ripe avocados
1 to 2 jalapenos
1/4 of a medium onion
small bunch of fresh cilantro
8 oz water (this is to thin out the salsa)
salt to taste
