As performed and recorded by the Memphis Men's Chorale and Memphis Women's Chorale under the direction of Jeremy T. Warner in December of 2013. This Polish carol was first published anonymously in 1908 in a book of Polish carols and quickly gained popularity in Europe. The text tells of the scene at Christ's birth, with oxen present and angels hovering above the manger. This arrangement is by American composer/arranger Mack Wilberg.
