Use S Pen to write quick notes on the Lock screen | Samsung US

Your Samsung Galaxy S Pen lets you write important info on your Lock screen whenever you’re in a rush so you don’t have to bother with unlocking your phone! To start, make sure Screen off memos are enabled by tapping Air command, and then Settings. If needed, tap the switch next to Screen off memos to turn them on. Now you’ll be able to take notes on your lock screen. With your screen off, remove the pen from your phone. The lock screen will turn black and allow you to write. The pen color defaults to white in this mode, but you can select a different shade by tapping on the white circle. You can also change the stroke thickness by tapping Pen Settings, which is the pencil icon. Use the Eraser to make corrections, and simply tap Save when you’re finished.
