This was a flock from Varzob valley on the way to Hahrituz district of Tajikistan. There were at least 7 dogs in the flock. When shepherds decided to make a stop dogs went to the nearest shadow. Among the dogs there was one bitch in heat. The autumn is a mating season among Tajik sagi dahmarda. At that moment one male dog from different flock appeared on the road. He was heading at the flock direction and soon came near. Dogs of the flock didn't show any agression towards the stranger, but when he started showing his interest to the bitch they reacted instantly. Dogs beat him up and drove out. Howevere they didn't chase him.
