Today's Penn Drive features Pushpa Kandaswamy who is the daughter of the legendary film director Sri K. Balachander who introduced superstar Rajinikanth & Kamal Haasan to the Indian Cinema. Pushpa Kandaswamy is the chairwoman of Kavithalaya Productions, which was founded by K. Balachander.

Kavithalaya Productions has released several acclaimed Tamil language features of the Chennai film Industry, including Sindhu Bhairavi, Mani Ratnam's Roja and K. S. Ravikumar's commercially successful film Muthu.

Pushpa Kandaswamy shares about the difficulties in the film production field. She also shares more about her father's experience in the film industry.
