Allah (ﷻ) forgives everyone because His mercy is greater than His anger. In the Qur’an, Allah says:

My Mercy encompasses all things.” (Surah Al-A‘raf 7:156)

Here are some key points why Allah forgives:

1. Allah’s Names & Attributes

He is Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful) and Al-Ghaffar (The All-Forgiving).

Forgiveness is part of His divine nature.

2. Human beings are weak

Allah created us with desires and limitations.

We make mistakes, but He opens the door of forgiveness so we don’t lose hope.

3. Encouragement to Return

Allah wants His servants to turn back to Him (Tawbah) instead of despairing.

He loves when a sinner repents sincerely more than a thirsty person finding water in the desert.

4. Balance of Justice and Mercy

While Allah forgives, He also holds people accountable if they persist in evil without repentance.

But His mercy is so vast that no sin is too great if one sincerely seeks forgiveness.

5. Hope for All

Even if someone has spent a lifetime in sin, a moment of true repentance can erase it.

This shows that Allah’s forgiveness is not limited to a few—it is open to everyone.
