Holy smokes, that was an adventure. I was completely worn out, but managed to get 45 sockeye in several hours of fishing, more accurately dip netting. Dip netting is something that Alaska residence can do to fill their freezers, it’s called subsistence fishing. As somebody who has sport fished most of his life, I’ve always thought of dip netting as semi repulsive: however, I must say it was pretty fun.
