There currently is a shortage of epidemiologists in the U.S., and according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for epidemiologists is projected to increase 30% through 2030. Dr. Annette Regan, MPH, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Faculty Lead for the MPH Program at the University of San Francisco Orange County Campus. Dr. Regan's background is in the epidemiological evaluation of maternal and child health programs, with specific expertise in the evaluation of maternal vaccination programs. Her research includes the application of complex epidemiological analyses to investigate three key areas of vaccine program evaluation: vaccine uptake, safety and effectiveness.
