Two Ways to Prepare Spicy Salsa Macha

Salsa Macha translates to “brave salsa”. It is very spicy so yes you do have to be very brave to try this salsa. It is made of dried peppers, garlic, and olive oil. Today we are making a milder version of this delicious salsa.

Salsa Macha with Nuts Ingredients
1 Cup Olive Oil or Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Chile de Arbol
1 Cup Japanese Peppers
1 Chile Guajillo
1/2 cup Unsalted Peanuts
1/4 Cup Sesame Seeds
5-6 Large Garlic Cloves
Salt to your taste

Salsa Macha without Nuts
3/4 Cup Olive Oil or Vegetable Shortening
1 Cup Chile de Arbol
1 Cup Japanese Peppers
6-7 Large Garlic Cloves
1 Chile Guajillo
Salt to your taste
