Join me as I ride to the Phoenix airport to catch my flight home (Culdesac series)

What a great way to cap off my visit to the "Car-Free" Culdesac development in Tempe! This route features a ride on Smith Road, a relatively quiet street that connects Culdesac to the Tempe Marketplace, and which is scheduled to get a high-comfort bike lane as well as a genuinely fantastic off-street network of bike paths connecting right to the airport. Compared to my ride from the airport to Culdesac, this was indeed a delight.

Many of you know that I like to ride my bike to and from airports when I travel. I do this in part to evaluate if it is possible and how comfortable it is. I get that this isn't necessarily practical for the average traveler, but what about the thousands of people typically working at the airport?
