Trix: Trix [Full Album + Bonus Tracks & Videos] (1981)

Maria Laura, Maria Emilia and Maria Eugenia Fernández were born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, July 5, 1960, and became known as Las Trillizas de Oro (The Golden Triplets). They released 10 singles in their home country between 1968-79 before securing a recording deal with Ralph Siegel's Jupiter Records in 1980, just when Siegel was switching from the Ariola Group of labels to Teldec Records. The album was released early 1981 and yielded the singles Fantasy (written by Pete Bellotte & Sylvester Levay) and C'est la vie. The first landed them a minor hit in Germany (#59) but like German trio Arabesque, Trix too would found a much bigger audience in Japan. A second album followed in 1982, before the girls returned to Argentina. They released 3 children's albums in Spanish in the late 90s.
