BMW AIRHEAD FORKS - FRONT SUSPENSION REBUILD

After a fresh paint job on the BMW R60 /5 frame components, I can now work on the front suspension. This front end is just over 50 years old and it has started to leak on the lower seals...so it's time for a rebuild!
In this video, I'll show you the steps I took to disassemble everything and once everything is cleaned up you'll see me explain all the details about this front suspension.
With a brand new seal kit from EME, it will be really easy to put this all back together and hopefully, I won't have any leaks in the next couple of years!

The front suspension on the R50/5, R60/5 and R75/5 models are all the same. These bikes were produced from 1969-1973. Before you purchase your seal kit, double-check your serial numbers and production dates to ensure a proper fit for your motorcycle!
