Doubles Pickleball Strategy 102 - Smart Pickleball Vol. 2, Power

Описание к видео Doubles Pickleball Strategy 102 - Smart Pickleball Vol. 2, Power

Describes a pickleball strategy of when to use power and when to hit softly.

We’ve all heard that most rallies end not with spectacular winner shots but rather with unforced errors, usually into the net. The main root cause of many of the unforced errors is the use of force exactly opposite of when it should be used. In other words, players hit hard when they should be hitting soft and vice versa. This is especially true of beginning and intermediate players. With unforced errors being by far the biggest category of errors, it makes sense to attack this issue as a top priority. As with golf, billiards, tennis and many other sports, in pickleball, power and control are opposites. Hitting the ball harder reduces control and increases errors; hitting the ball softer increases control and reduces errors.
