The second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is titled The Book of Carol and follows Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier as they face old demons and new dangers. Daryl struggles with his decision to stay in France, where he trains Laurent to fight the undead and lives in a religious commune. He also clashes with Losang over his violent ways and leads a raid to rescue Fallou and Emile from Genet's troops. Carol searches for Daryl in Maine, where she befriends Ash Patel, a pilot who lost his son. Carol convinces Ash to fly her to France after playing on his sympathies and claiming that Sophia is there.
