Transforming remote communities through access to water is not easy… but it is possible when we work together.

In La Hierbabuena, a community located a four-hour uphill walk away, we implemented a project that brings safe water directly into people’s homes.

This effort includes:
• The expansion of 600 meters of piping to provide water access to families who previously lacked it.
• The replacement of 140 meters of vulnerable piping.
• Active family participation through training sessions, community work, and methodologies such as PHAST.
• Strengthening the local water committee and coordinating efforts with local authorities.
• Ongoing monitoring to ensure real and sustainable impact.

Thanks to the support of Agua del Pueblo and the commitment of the families, this project will transform the health, hygiene, and overall well-being of 67 families.
