STORYLINE
Brazilian Vice-President Michel Temer met with Portuguese Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho at the Sao Bento Palace in Lisbon.
The encounter was part of an official visit to Portugal that included an earlier visit with President Anibal Cavaco Silva at the Presidential Palace.
The visit was aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations in the areas of science, social and legal affairs, as well as technology.
