Rick and Thel began touring in 1957 with shows such as Reg Lindsay and Heather McKean. They put together the All Star Western Show in 1959, but in 1960 they went out on the road with their own show. They continued touring for 30 years exactly, all over Australia, until Thel's illness forced them off the road and into retirement in 1987.
