The Princesses and the other Guides run and take shelter in slit trench after warning of an air raid ("buzz bomb alert"). Good shots of the Princesses in the trench shelter giggling with other girls their age.



Various shots of Princess Margaret helping prepare camp meal in mess tin. Various shots of Princess Elizabeth doing the washing-up with other Rangers. Narrator comments that with the King's absence in Italy, it is Elizabeth's first day as a Councillor of State.
