Let's spend a minute and have a look at some of the features in employee contact manager

You can filter by all of your headings. For example Surname, First Name, Phone Number, Department, Role
Searches can be carried out by just putting in the first letter of the word. For example, you could choose Department starting with the letter O.
Click view contact button to filter by your parameters.
Click add new contact button to add a new entry to your data list
Choose sort to sort your new addition
Double-click any entry to go to that contact and edit
