Nick Branwell is a London-based luthier, who is perhaps best known for his beautiful Torres style classical guitars. He has, however, recently decided to explore the delights of the steel-string flat-top guitar and he invited me to his workshop to check out his 3-model range.

The Southfields is Nick's take on the traditional Martin OM. Here we have an Engelmann Spruce top and Cherry on the back and sides. Cherry has increased in popularity over the last few years and Nick certainly makes it work.
