Pre-Meeting Banter: Smorgasbord!!!
Meeting:
John Kelsey: Clubs’ news, Doug Reesor’s LAWA sanding demo, with follow-up discussion regarding sanding, and John’s magnet boxes update,
with two (nearly) complimentary-shaped ash jars.

David Sloan: Available for pickup (or possibly delivery in the Lancaster area) are David’s stash of 72 Woodturning (UK) magazines.

David Bell: Davis shows his stabilized and casted resin and wood turkey pot and striker calls (fascinating, functional, and beautiful), plus a nice
ice cream scoop out of maple and resin.

Reg Goeke: Large natural edge walnut bowl, a plum natural edge bowl, a bit of Q&A regarding the Beale Buffing System, a walnut platter
showcasing crotch grain, a red cedar bowl, and an undisclosed
species natural edge bowl.

Jim Duxbury: Up to his tricks again, Jim shows his two-center box, plus mind- bending conjoined spherical bowls.

Randy Smith: Turn for the Troops scheduled for November 8 & 9 at a Woodcraft near you (check first!), a mention of Rita Duxbury’s tiny lighthouses on burl scraps (with Jim Dux showing some of them), and a phone mount useful for taking videos.

Mike Peace: Mike turned some cattails and leaves for his rustic burl disc vase (see Mike’s prior and upcoming YouTube videos).

David Hudgell: A very thin box elder and resin platter.

Stew Bremner: Stew shows his 12” long ‘smooshed’ flying wing with a flood-coated epoxy finish, plus a beautiful tri-corner box, decorated in part using
his pneumatic Blue Point angle grinder and concave eye cutters.

Dianne Ross: Dianne shows her first ever tall wig stand, plus her in-progress spheres.
