The Dhamar is an original instrumental composition of Senia heritage. The drut gat comes from the repertoire of the long-extinct Dhrupad gharana of Kalpi and has been popularised by the legendary sitar master Ustad Yusuf Ali Khan of Lucknow during the first half of the twentieth century.
Both compositions were taught to me by my teacher sarod maestro Ustad Irfan MD Khan of Kolkata.

Performed on the restored sitar of late Ustad Ilyas Khan Saheb of Lucknow.
