Made In Stainless Clad Saucier 3qt Initial Thoughts (Too lightweight?)

Описание к видео Made In Stainless Clad Saucier 3qt Initial Thoughts (Too lightweight?)

I give my initial impressions on the MadeIn 3qt stainless clad saucier. Initial impressions are cautiously optimistic. It’s much lighter than I was expecting as the website advertises it with the lid included adding 1lb.

In my initial cook, it seems like it does heat evenly and won’t scorch delicate ingredients when gently sautéing garlic slides and spices in olive oil. It retained a reasonable amount of heat when I added a 28oz can of peeled San marzano tomatoes, coming back up to a boil fairly quick after adding to the oil infusion. When simmering the sauce it did want to reduce faster than I wanted even at low heat and was bubbling just in the middle where the pan makes contact.

It was very easy to stir, mix and clean due to the rounded sides and super easy to tip for pouring with its lighter weight and decent handle.

Overall I am cautiously optimistic this will be a great pan. Hopefully MadeIn really struck a weight balance that helps this continue to perform. However I would suggest looking elsewhere if you’re into heavier cookware and I think it’s very equivalent to any 3-ply brand out there.

Full disclosure is I’ve only cooked an Arrabbiata pasta and boiled water for pasta.
