[番外編] 直録のやり方 〜 メロディ時計の音源を高音質で録音する方法 - How to Audio rip from a melody clocks (からくり時計 Motion clock)

今回は、番外編として直録の方法を紹介します。
自分がやっている方法が役に立つと幸いです！

・ドライバー　大体0~1番
　　ホームセンターなどで買える
・ワニ口クリップコード
　　ホームセンターで売っている物で良い
・3.5mmオーディオケーブル (抵抗無し)
　　家電量販店などで売っている物で良い

○録音機器
　LINE入力のある
　・ボイスレコーダー(PCM)
　　　使用した物 → TASCAM DR-40X
　　　　　　　　 　 ZOOM H1essential (マイク入力のみ対応)
　　※比較的安価なものにはラインレベルで録音できないものが多いです。(SONYはできるっぽい？が、TASCAMのDR-05やDR-07、ZOOMのH1nやsなどはできない。)
　・オーディオ
　　　使用した物 → SONY ZS-RS81BT
　・パソコン (Windowsのみ確認)

◎スマホの場合
・スマートフォン (Androidのみ確認)
・抵抗入り 3.5mmオーディオケーブル
　　使用した物 → フジパーツ 100Ω FNT-OM101R

　できるだけ抵抗値が低い方が、音が大きく録音できる。

- 3.5mm audio cable with resistor (About 100Ω)
　The lower the resistance value, the louder the sound you can record.
- Earphone microphone branching cable
- USB-C 4-pole audio conversion adapter with DAC



①00:16 時計をスピーカーの裏側が見える所まで分解する / Disassemble the clock until you can see the back of the speaker.

　*It is best to avoid using an electric screwdriver, as it may strip the screws.
　 If you remove the wiring (connectors) from the motor and doll, you may be able to eliminate noise and record better.

②00:34 ワニ口クリップをスピーカーのプラスマイナスに取り付ける / Attach the alligator clips to the positive and negative terminals of the speaker.

　*It will be easier to understand later if you connect the positive to the red and the negative to the black.

③00:49 ワニ口クリップの先に3.5mmオーディオケーブルを取り付ける / Attach a 3.5mm audio cable to the end of the alligator clip.

　*Connect the negative (black) wire to the first wire at the base, and the positive (red) wires to the two ends as shown in the video. (Only the ends are connected for mono.)

④録音機器に接続する / Connecting to a recording device.
(1)01:16 PCMレコーダーの場合(ボイスレコーダー) / For PCM recorder (Voice recorder)

　*Most voice recorders have the ability to accept external inputs, but many relatively inexpensive ones cannot record at line level.
　 In that case, you will need to use an audio cable with resistance. The sound will be recorded at microphone level, and even the lowest setting will be distorted.
　 Be sure to check the specifications of the recorder you are using. (Even if it says LINE IN, it may not be possible to record at line level.)

(2)02:25 Windowsパソコンの場合 / For Windows computers.
　　使用録音ソフトは、Audacity
　　　Connect to the microphone jack.
　　　The recording software used is Audacity.

　*Most modern PCs have a combo jack that shares a microphone and earphone terminal.
　 Some PCs have a combo jack that allows line input without a splitter cable, just by plugging it in.
　 However, there are some that don't record well even when using a cable with resistors.
　 Depending on the settings, you may be able to change from microphone input to line input. If you can only use microphone input, use a cable with resistors.

　 Connect to LINE IN.
　*In some cases, a storage medium such as USB or SD may be required.

(4)04:02 Androidスマホの場合 / For Android smartphones.
　　使用録音アプリは、ShurePlus MOTIV Audio
　　The recording app used is ShurePlus MOTIV Audio.
　　I think it would be better if the gain could be adjusted.

　1. Connect the earphone microphone splitter cable to the USB-C 4-pole audio conversion adapter.
　　*Do not connect the 3.5mm audio cable yet. For some reason, the microphone will not be recognized.
　2. Connect the conversion adapter to your smartphone.
　3. After that, connect the audio cable.
　　*If you use a cable with resistance, the sound will be recorded at a low volume, so you will need to adjust the volume. However, if you don't use a cable with resistance, the sound will distort.
　　Also, the sound quality will change depending on the conversion adapter.
