Recently I visited Adamstown, PA aka "antiques capital USA," so named for its high concentration of antiques dealers within a small area. It's only an hour from Philly so it's an easy day trip! Here are my top 3 favorite stores and some honorable mentions:

1️⃣ Mad Hatter Antiques - this is the place to be if you collect any type of vintage or antique glass! It's absolutely huge and they have every type of glass you could think of, along with some other really interesting items like suits of armor. Honorable mention to their two sister stores Adamstown Antiques and Pine Hills Antiques which are also huge.

2️⃣ Oley Valley Architectural Antiques - one of the coolest places I've ever been! It's a treasure trove of large scale home furnishings like mantle pieces, doors, stained glass, bars, sculptures, etc. The prices are HIGH but everything is so unique with tons of history behind it, with many items imported from Europe. This is a must-see even if you're not planning to buy anything.

3️⃣ Angus Antiques - probably my overall favorite. It's cavernous with many twists and turns so there's always more to look at, plus they have a huge variety of items from piles of junk to pricey artwork and everything in between. They're only open on Sunday but definitely worth a visit!
