Hurricane Milton made landfall south of St Pete Beach in Florida on October 9th, 2024 as a Category 3 storm with 120 mph winds. Just two weeks prior to Hurricane Milton, St Pete Beach was flooded by several feet of storm surge from Hurricane Helene. The island was completely shut down for periods of time after both storms. While the beaches have re opened to the public and many businesses are up and running, there are many areas of St Pete Beach that are still covered by debris and have a long road to recovery. In this episode we share the current conditions all over the island. We visit several businesses that have re-opened, many that haven't, as well as check out the condition of three different beaches. This episode was filmed on November 10th 2024.

00:00 Come along with us to see the conditions on St Pete Beach after the hurricanes, we start off on Corey Avenue 00:30 then make our way toward a popular area that was flooded very badly 02:50 next we check out Upham Beach as well as what's left of the Secret Garden 04:15 then we hop on our Heybikes to visit some of St Pete's beach bars 05:28 the first beach bar was open 06:20 but others nearby were still closed 07:10 our next stop was the public beach 08:47 then we were on to the last beach bar, not only was it open, but we also got to enjoy quite a beautiful sunset 09:55
