STRAWBERRY GALETTE | easy summer recipe

Hello to all!!! Today I propose making an easy summer recipe from fresh strawberries. If this summer you also have a large strawberry crop and you do not know what to do with it, prepare this strawberry galette and it will become one of your favorite recipes with this berry)))

INGREDIENTS:

Pie Crust:

220g flour
1tsp salt
70g cold unsalted butter
100ml cold water

Strawberry Filling:

300g fresh strawberry (sliced)
50g sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp lemon juice

1 egg
2 tbsp sugar (for sprinkling)

COOKING METHOD:

1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add very cold butter and mash with a fork.
2. Pour in very cold water and knead the dough.
3. Wrap the dough with cling film and send it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or all night.
5. Roll out the dough into a 5 mm layer (put in the refrigerator while preparing the filling).
6. Cut large strawberries into two parts. Pour sugar, corn starch, and lemon juice, mix.
7. Put the filling on the dough and form the sides.
8. Grease the edges with an egg and sprinkle with sugar.
9. Bake at 400F/200C for 30 minutes.
