My brand new Harley Pan America CVO is already a train wreck. Neutral gremlins, quick-shifter chaos, and Harley corporate gaslighting me with their “everyone is fine” line—like I’m supposed to believe a $28k machine works on vibes instead of gears.
Here’s the kicker: my local dealer actually bent over backwards trying to figure it out. They rode it, replicated the problem, brought in the Harley tech rep—and still got handcuffed by corporate’s “within specs” excuse. Translation: the bike’s broken, but it’s broken the way Harley says it’s allowed to be.
This is my second Pan America disaster, and I’m starting to think Harley’s new corporate motto is “blame the rider, protect the brand.” If you’re looking at a Pan America—or if you’ve ever been brushed off by a service department—you’ll want to watch this one.
