The result of West Bengal Board Secondary Examination i.e. 10th class has been released. The result can be checked on the official website wbresults.nic.in. This time 86.34 per cent students of West Bengal board have passed. This is the best performance in the history of West Bengal Secondary Examination so far. The pass percentage last year was 86.07 percent. This year a total of 10,03,666 students took the exam, out of which 8,43,305 students have passed. Boys have a pass percentage of 89.87 per cent, while 83.48 per cent of girls have taken the exam this year, compared to last year. This time a total of 5,76,009 students and 4,39,879 students have taken the exam.

Aritra Pal of Memari in East Burdwan district has topped the exam by securing 694 out of 700. Combination Garai in Bankura district and Abhishek Das of East Burdwan district jointly topped the Top 2. They have got 693 numbers. The third position has been jointly held by Saumya Pathak of Bankura district, Debasamita Mahapatra of East Midnapore district and Aritra Maiti in North 24 Parganas district. He has achieved 690 marks.
