🌧️ Bench Lake Fire Weather Update for Sunday

Monsoonal moisture is moving into the area today and tomorrow. Wind gusts are expected to be lower today with a slight shift in direction (NW), which may change the direction of the fire if the winds pick up higher than forecasted.

There’s a 10-20% probability of lightning this afternoon, increasing the risk of new ignitions. Unfortunately, the expected rain is less than a tenth of an inch, so it likely won't help deter the fire.
