He scored a breezy 22 against Namibia when Abhishek Sharma was ill. With both Abhishek and Tilak Varma struggling to do the job, it is all but certain that the Kerala keeper-batter will make a return to the XI.

-It won't be a surprise if India go with another spin option in Kuldeep Yadav at Chepauk.

-They have all of their players fit. There is a very small chance they will bring the left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza into the playing XI.
