Unboxing The Biggest Scariest Vacuum Cleaner I've Seen. A Nilco 271 Commercial Upright

This is a HUGE heavy beast! This German made Nilco upright vacuum cleaner is absolutely massive, far bigger than say a Hoover Senior but with a similar design. I am scared to death by this machine for some reason, but after getting it blessed by a priest, I should be able to live with it in my home.

Made in Germany by a company called Fakir and boasting a 660 watt motor with a dirty fan design for superb airflow. The fan is very large and the base is all metal with a plastic motor hood. Very, very quiet for such a big cleaner.

There were no instructions supplied with this vintage but unused cleaner, so I had to work out how to put it together
Unfortunately the cleaner was supplied with the wrong dustbags and the spring that holds the top of the bag was missing, but I have obtained the correct parts and will be doing a performance demo of this vacuum cleaner soon.
