As you can maybe tell, I'm on a bit of Cihan kick right now.
Bit of a spoiler alert, but as you may know if you watch Siyah Kalp, Samet died and I really thought they were going to slow down enough to show the process of that for Cihan, but they didn't. I had all these high hopes of how they might do it and how it would go towards Cihan's character development and all he went through since returning to Cappadocia, but the writers were sleeping the day that plot was written, apparently.

The whole unravelling of Cihan's life and the mistakes he deeply regretted were borne of his attachment and bond to his dad, and his character's eventual choice to be a better, stronger man (and soon, father) was all the more meaningful because of where it all started. I love working on projects that highlight how people fail, break, rise, and heal. The journey of becoming more, despite its grizzly ugliness at times, is beautiful when you allow it to change you. This video is loosely a continuation of my previous Cihan edit. They go hand in hand in telling his story.
