in some places youre working with limited space, these slim towers are meant to fit those places ( for example carnoi island) especially when it comes to turret cap

smaller turret cap range ( turrets are more tight together)
lower structure cap
possibility to go down to 8x8
less line of sight
symetrical roofing

con:
no core tower stabilisation
can fit less turrets on the same height
-turrets are directly placed on the top/bottom of door frames
