I found this rack server on the curb during trash day and was interested in how it is built as I have never seen such a device up close. It is extremely modular. I was able to disassemble and assemble it into every component within a matter of minutes using the Torx Allen key provided in the case! Sadly most of the possibly useful or interesting parts (Xeon processors, RAM, HDD Storage, etc) was already missing. Date codes I found after recording show a December 2006 build date! Yes, this is even before the first ever iPhone was released!
