DIY Grow Large Crystals for Room Decor

Hello guys, after multiple experiments with growing crystals, I present to you the most effective way to grow large and beautiful home made Crystals. This is a super fun project if you want to teach your kid on how to grow Crystals, or you can make it yourself and use them as Room Decors. To make large and beautiful Crystals, you have to understand the crystallization process. Three most important things are saturated solution, cool down time and continued growth. The more saturated the solution, the more likely you are to get nice crystals, the longer it takes to cool the solution, the more crystal you get, and lastly the continue growth by using a good seed (in this case the already crystalized pipe cleaner). I microwaved the solution after 2-3 hours for 2 mins to prolong the cool down process. Do not leave the crystal in the jar for more than 12 hours if you want sparkling looking crystals, I have noticed that the longer you leave the crystal in the solution, the duller the crystal will look when you take it out, unless you heat up the solution again and add more borax powder. Or else, do not leave the crystal in solution for more than 12 hours (speaking from personal experiments) Display the Crytals in shaded area, avoid direct sunlight, as this will dry up the crystal over a long period of time.
