The Sarai Kale Khan RRTS is a multi-modal transport hub, currently under construction in Delhi, and is a major component of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. It is designed to integrate with the Delhi Metro's Pink Line, Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, and a bus terminal, enabling seamless transfers between different modes of transport for high-speed Namo Bharat trains. The station is the largest on the Delhi-Meerut corridor and features six platforms, 14 lifts, and 18 escalators, with plans to connect to other future RRTS corridors.

Key Features
Multimodal Hub:
Sarai Kale Khan will be a large transport center, connecting the Delhi-Meerut RRTS, Delhi Metro Pink Line, Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, and a bus terminal.
Connectivity:
It serves as a key station for the Delhi Meerut RRTS corridor and is also planned to be a gateway for future Delhi-Panipat-Karnal and Delhi-Alwar corridors.
Design and Facilities:
The station is 215 meters long, 50 meters wide, and 15 meters high, with 6 platforms, 14 lifts, and 18 escalators.
High-Speed Rail:
It is a station for the Namo Bharat (RapidX) trains, capable of speeds up to 180 km/h.
Current Status
Construction is ongoing, with the station designed to be the largest on the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor.
The Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor is expected to become fully operational by September 2025.
