These four movements of The Fourteeners cycle were rescored and re recorded with a few changes in the music. Long's Peak, Pikes Peak, Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Evans are featured.

I spent a lifetime climbing these peaks multiple times, and am very familiar with them. I returned to each one with manuscript, climbed up to a certain spot where I could see and feel the mountain, and sketched the thematic feelings the mountain drew from me. Back at home, I worked out the form on the piano.

I scored the music with Finale for the full orchestra. I recorded a few acoustic instruments live- flute, clarinet, F-horn, trumpet, violin, viola, and piano in real time in my studio. I played other tracks one at a time on a Casio px310 keyboard and used one of three real instrument libraries, Garritan, Vienna, and my own with acoustic instrument, and nature sounds. Then I mixed tracks with Reaper to produce each performance. .

The video was shot on each of the featured mountains. The music is less into description of the scenes, and more into flavoring them in a classial, not film score form.
