I love British revolvers, and this Enfield No.2 Mk1* was one of the first firearms I bought. It is in pretty decent shape, though looks like it was carried quite a bit. Supposedly this one was owned by a nurse who brought it to the US after WW2. It still shoots very well, though I'm using .38 S&W rather than true .38/200, so I believe the sights are a little off due to the difference in projectile weight. The trigger pull is just massive though, which makes it all the more annoying that the Mk.1* cannot be fired single action. Supposedly this was to encourage British soldiers to use rapid fire at close range rather than slower, aimed shots with single action operation, as well as to expedite production during the war.
