Ingredients for Veg Shammi Kebab:

1 cup Fortune Soya Chunks
1 cup Water
1 small pc Suran
7-8 tbsp Fortune Sunlite Oil
1pc. Whole Red Chilli
2-3 pcs. Cinnamon Stick
4-6 pcs. Clove
3-5 Small Elaichi
1-2 pcs. Big Elaichi
1 tbsp Saunf
1 tsp Kali Mirch/black pepper
1-2 Green Chillies
1 Onion
1 bowl Soaked Chana Dal
Salt to taste
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1-2 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Coriander Sprig

Here’s how to make shammi kebab with soya and suran:

To begin with, take soaked Fortune soya chunks and crush them in a mixer. Then take the suran and slice it into medium-sized pieces.

The next step in Chef’s shammi kebab recipe is to heat Fortune sunlite sunflower oil in a frying pan. Add masalas for a chatpata flavour in our veg kebabs. Next, add red chilli, cinnamon sticks, cloves, small elaichi pieces, saunf, kali mirch, and green chillies to the pan. Finally, add soaked chana dal, chopped suran, and crushed soya chunks to the pan.

Throw in the salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder. Add water if required. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then allow the mixture to cool down before grinding it. In the final step of ‘how to make Shammi Kebabs’, shape the mixture into patties and fry them in a preheated pan with oil until they turn golden brown.
