Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has strongly denied any connection to the Jeffrey Epstein case after his name surfaced in old emails linked to the scandal.

In a social media statement on February 2, Anwar said he was unaware that his name had been “dropped” in emails connected to the Epstein controversy. He clarified that the emails were more than a decade old and stressed that he has absolutely no connection with any of the parties involved, including Jeffrey Epstein.

Anwar added that he would continue with his personal plans in Johor Bahru and ended his response with the hashtag #DoneExplain, making it clear that the matter is closed from his side.

The Epstein scandal, which involved allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking of minors, continues to draw global attention. However, the Malaysian Prime Minister has firmly stated that he has no involvement whatsoever.
